Carli Dominator 3.0 System Base Kit for 6 Inch Lift

The Carli Dominator 3.0 System is built for Ram 2500 and 3500 diesel trucks that need a true no-compromise suspension system with outstanding handling improvement, maximum control, a plush on-road ride, and serious off-road capability. This 6 inch system is designed around Carli custom-tuned King 3.0 inch remote reservoir shocks, radius arm conversion geometry, multi-rate coil springs, and full progressive rear leaf springs to deliver a much more controlled, responsive, and comfortable ride than the factory platform.

Carli’s 6 inch systems are a major step beyond the 3 inch offerings. Every system includes a custom-tuned shock package and radius arm conversion, while the Dominator adds a 1-piece internally gusseted crossmember. The longer, flatter radius arms cycle more linear travel than extended short arms and help produce better ride quality, improved articulation, and tighter street feel while maintaining serious strength for off-road use.

  • Factory spring buckets must be bored for proper shock clearance

Radius Arm System Details:

  • Long radius arms provide more linear travel than extended short arms

  • 1-piece internally gusseted crossmember included

  • Radius arm drop brackets bolt on without modifying the factory control arm brackets

  • Truck can be returned to stock because factory brackets remain intact

  • Internal X-bracing and external gusseting add strength

  • Designed to reduce articulation bind through improved axle geometry

Rear Leaf Spring Details:

  • Full progressive rear leaf pack replaces the factory leaf spring assembly

  • Softens initial spring rate at ride height

  • Increases rear suspension travel and comfort through the usable travel stroke

  • Helps minimize axle wrap and wheel hop

  • Capable of up to 15 inches of suspension travel with factory shackle

  • Fits 4.0 inch axle tube applications

Sway Bar Options:

  • Extended sway bar end links with sway bar drop brackets help reset factory sway bar geometry

  • Extended links feature 1/2 inch FK rod ends and in-house machined 17-4 stainless bodies

  • Optional torsion sway bar replaces the factory sway bar assembly

  • Torsion sway bar uses fabricated drop brackets, Delrin bushings, fabricated arms, and dual 5/8 inch FK heim end links

  • Torsion sway bar allows the front suspension to move more freely without sacrificing control

  • Torsion bar finish may be black or silver zinc depending on supply availability and is not selectable

Notes:

  • Front driveshaft must be lengthened 2 inches.

  • Rear driveshaft must be checked for 1-piece or 2-piece configuration.

  • Carrier bearing drop is recommended for trucks with a 2-piece rear driveshaft.

  • Drop pitman arm is required for 6 inch suspension kits.

  • 2012–2013 kits will not fit dual rear wheel applications.

  • Full progressive leaf springs reduce payload to light 3/4-ton capacity.

  • Payload reduction can be supplemented with Carli Long Travel Airbags and the correct 6 inch airbag spacer.

  • 2010–2013 trucks may have 10mm or 12mm sway bar end links. An 18mm socket fitting the upper sway bar link nut indicates 12mm end links are required.

  • If exposed to harsh weather for extended periods, Carli recommends wrapping King shock bodies with 3M protective film as a replaceable moisture barrier.

Wheel and Tire Fitment:

  • Fits up to 37 inch tires on wheels no more than 9 inches wide with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

  • Carli recommends 17 to 18 inch wheels with 37 inch E-rated tires.

  • Recommended unloaded tire pressure is 45 PSI front and 40 PSI rear.

  • Stock wheels, stock tires, or larger wheel diameters may result in a firmer ride.

Optional Upgrades:

  • Leaf spring shackles for improved rear ride quality

  • Long Travel Airbags for added load support

  • Airbag spacer for 4 inch rear lift compatibility

  • Carrier bearing drop for 2-piece driveshafts
