BD Diesel Performance torque converters feature exclusive performance cast aluminum stators designed to improve efficiency, strength, and throttle response across stock to higher horsepower applications.
Each converter is engineered with a stamp-forged steel front cover, furnace-brazed fins, billet steel piston, hardened piston seal bore, improved friction lining, and steel Torrington needle bearings in place of plastic thrust washers. Every unit is tested to 1,000 lb-ft of crank torque to ensure consistent performance and long-term reliability.
